The main different is the speed....

Go for a SanDisk Extreme III, I've got the 4GB version and it workings like a dream (plus 10 Year Warranty and PAR checking if your N800 eats it....)

I would recommend the Patriot 8GB in either class 4 or class 6. I have both and I have not tested actual speeds, but they both feel about the same in speed. I ended up getting the class 6 ($74.99) for cheaper than the class 4 ($79.99) which is weird since now they both cost more than when I bought them.

I use Kingston 8gb Class 4 and it's been good. There's currently a deal going on at Adorama.

I'm using the transcend 8gb SDHC and well - I'm having a boatload of problems. I hope it's not the card, I'm honestly not sure where the problem lies...

did you load any patched to get these cards to work past the 38-2 upgrade. I recieved my N800 today and loaded the upgrade but my 2 Kingston Class 6 8 Gb cards are not being read.
