You can use the phone, it makes calls and receives calls, you just cannot talk yet. The airplane thing is a bug FROM FROYO, NOT FROM NITDROID, as a lot of nitdroid users mistakenly assumed. In 0.07, turn off the airplane is NOT strict forward, see 1st post. In 0.08, just click the icon or reboot. It works for me.

Not to mean to ignore you, I just dont have a solution... yet. Red light 'sometime' blink is when you just experienced a battery crash, usually because the nitdroid does NOT read the battery accurately.

If you want to see more on your screen, you can edit the file

/and/system/build.prop under maemo,
============
...

ro.sf.lcd_density=240
wifi.interface=wlan0

....
============

and play with the number 210. As N900 resolution is more than nitdroid, you can easily adjusted to higher resolultion, sort of like changing the monitor resolution of 1280 X 800 vs 1024 X 768 vs 800 X 600, I always prefer 1280 on my monitor, I hate 800 X 600. However, because of the N900 screen size is not 21", you would have to play with your preference.

280 crash some
240 is the default
210 is my choice
180 if you have very good eyes

When the number is not 240, some games/website may have black borders. I just want to see more. some pics for your enjoyment, working.... just wait pics attached are 180, as you can see, you see a lot more on the web page, however, on some games, you will see black borders.

The above are 180s, these are 210s, my default setting. It is difficult to demonstrate the difference as the TMO posting change the pics somewhat. You can see on the search website, 8 rows displayed on 210 vs 9 rows displayed on 180, so does the other pics too. And somegames display alright, and some will have a black borders. Again, it is just personal preference whatever you choose. And yes, you can make it smaller, but can make it bigger. It crashed with 280 or above, more frequent.

These are the default 240, just compare the search page, you see only 6 rows compare to 8 rows of 210 and 9 rows of 180.

because of the hi resolution of N900 display, the modification does not make it pixelated, still looked very sharp to the nake eyes

actually yesterday i can use the nitdroid n i can use it to connect to the internet n the battery is show the correct actual value
i dont know why its happened
n then i turn off the phone to use the maemo
n today when i want to use nitdroid again, the red light issue coming out again
