Router is BeBox aka SpeedTouch 585
I have been looking on web, looks like it may have some kind of sip client.
Just checked n900 wifi communication with wireshark, i see
"239.255.255.250 SSDP M-SEARCH * HTTP/1.1 " as the only activity.
Router log shows
UPnP action 'AddPortMapping' from ip=192.168.1.67 (Success)

1. Use telnet to connect to your router. If running Vista, you’ll need to install Telnet through Add/Remove Programs otherwise, you can use Putty.
2. Type in the following commands
connection unbind application=SIP port=5060
saveall

I have just found the solution, here incase it helps others
http://www.murray-mint.co.uk/2008/11...peedtouch-585/
You have to unbind port 5060.
Thanks for all your help and sugesstions, I really must try these things in the day time!

You need to add the STUN server. If you get stuck then PM me with a link back to this threa and I'll post a set of screenshots. My uk sipgate account has been working fine for months.
Additional Information:
Got to Advanced Settings....
Tick 'Use for Telephone Numbers' (Obvious but helpful!)
Username: <account>@sipgate.co.uk
Transport: Auto (might need to play with this sometimes)
Outbound Proxy: sipgate.co.uk
Port: 5060
Tick 'Discover public address'
Keep-alive mechanism: Auto
Keep-alive period: Auto
UnTick 'Auto-detect STUN' to gain access to settings...
STUN server: stun.sipgate.net
STUN port: 10000 (that is ten thousand!)
You should now be good to go. Obviously need to make sure your router isn't blocking the relevant ports or domains explicitly but these settings seem to work on most routers I come across.
