Wow! This is amazing! The new UI is fantastic and easy to understand like with standalone cameras. Is it possible to create a Macro Mode for blessn900? If not, I have figured out a workaround: Get the best up close focus shot and then zoom in. Amazingly enough, I find this to work with the default camera app. How could I have not known about this super macro zoom.....

Thank you for your hard work. This has re-lit the photographer flame in me!

    Did anyone notice this "bug"?
    Thanks.
Oops... shame on me. We will correct this in the next release

Most of the pictures have a vignetting effect (i.e. the outside is darker than the center). I think this has to do with the Fcam drivers.
Is there any way around this?

Not yet. I didn't want to destroy the crime scene in case there was something interesting waiting to be discovered.

I'll try later, as I don't have an internet connection here for the N900.
I just tried reinstalling the package and rebooting the device, but nothing changed. BlessN900 won't launch.

    Any idea? Thanks.

Talking about that, could we have yet another super resolution mode, by separating the color components into grayscale pixels? (knowing the geometry of the pixels in the sensor that shouldn't be a big challenge (unless the arrangement is not in a rectangular grid; though if it is, the result might not have correct aspect ratio, but for some purposes that would be acceptable with the additional detail achieved)
Don't know about the algorithms but not just "ignore color info".

Some way to mess with the contrast or color channels and a custom mode to save a few profiles would be nice.

I was trying out the N8 wich allows contrast adjustment and liked it.

It stores them to device; it's running PR1.3 fully updated.
When pic viewer was running, the thumbnail was ok on first try; then failed on a 2nd test shot. A subsequent shot was full of square patterns.

You know what it's missing on the UI? (or I fail to find), it's the button on the top left that allows the user to switch apps. Currently that's where the flash control button is.

    Thanks for looking into this!

Seems as though the new Titans kernel breaks your app - issue with the fcam drivers. Can anyone on the bless team tackle compiling them against his kernel and fix the problem. I miss this app already.

As this is an issue with fcam, you should probably try to ask the developers of fcam-drivers for a compatible version.
