Have you started the connection from your phone ? If not,
disconnect, and on your phone use
"Settings->Bluetooth->Devices" mark your Headphones and then
"Edit->Connect"
Does the sound still come out of the phone ?

Background: my headphone only connects as headset for the telephone, not es headphone. Thats why I can use it for calls, but not for music. Maybe its the same for your headphones ?

Unfortunately It is not included in the box but can be downloaded from here:

First pair the device to your N900 (and afterwards to your laptop if you want to).

So are all the features of this headset available to the N900 w/PR1.3?
Just as though you were connected to a SE phone?
Thanks to anyone who can clarify, all the best!

Not everything works. Sometimes the headset disconnects after a
telephone call. And the name of the caller is not displayed. But the caller-ID is.
I don't know if the headset could display artist-name when playing music. With a n900 it doesn't

I don't care so much about the display....
Just want to know that all other functions (ala BH-214) work? inc. radio etc.

Meh....
Its looking like there's some better options "on balance" from sennheiser, plantronics, nokia & maybe motorola.
Comparing models from them only now.

oh... come on!!!!
jalyst you're playing with my jealousy!!!
I recently had an experience with a SE MW600 headset and i must say i was pretty impressed!
yes, the radio IS going to work as it is embedded in the headset, so there is no need for the N900 to "do" something...
the MW600 is so sleak, cheap and powerful that I started drooling over it... especially since it was working with a Galaxy S.. r-e-s-p-e-c-t!
as for the caller Name (not phone number-that seems to be easy...), NO it won't work!
We cannot possibly ask for someone to crack open the code exchanged between the "Contacts" server of SonyEricsson phones and SonyEricsson headsets!!! so... we'll probably never see a caller name on the screen of such a headset...
any other speculations??

By "on-balance" I was referring to my own needs/wants.

There's no such thing as one make/model being THE BEST.
That's not what I meant...

I'm glad you're happy with your choice.

and I too wasn't referring to your final choice!
I just complimented the MW600!
