I'm having a problem with Mobile Hotspot.

    It doesn't work.

It didn't work on PR1.3 using Kernel-Power40, and it still won't work for me on PR1.3 Kernel-Power45.

Here's the error i get when i start it in xterm.

    Code:
    Nokia-N900:~# mobilehotspot
ERROR:dbus.proxies:Introspect error on :1.86:/com/nokia/icd2: dbus.exceptions.DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NotSupported: Unsupported interface or method
When i click on "Start" i get the error of "Internet Connection Failed. Try Again?"

This is even when i have connected to my 3G access point before loading Mobile Hotspot.

I have even uninstalled and reinstalled mobilehotspot to see if that fixed it. Nope.

Disappeared to page 2 already and no replies.

Somebody must know something about this problem, or even confirm if it's a known problem or just mine?

I tried it too. After the first time that the connection doesn't start, at the second time it conects the gprs/edge signal - and my laptop is able to connect to the mobilehotspot adhoc network.
    But no navigation

    Joikuspot doesn't work either

    (kernel-power v45 here, no multiboot)

    I have, thats the problem.
    It worked on PR1.2.
    Since PR1.3 it stopped working.

Apparently, it is a Multiboot conflict error.

So, can anybody elaborate in any way other than the great help that is "RTFM".

I was very disappointed with mobile hot spot, I tried it on 1.2 and 1.3 and tried stuff like making sure I was not connected via gprs before connecting. the end result is the best I was ever able to achieve was pinging the n900 but I could never get to the internet.
