I basically have this issue here.

It still exists and I am going to have to spend hours correcting my calender dates I have entered so they are all correct. Is there any other work around?

I'll take that as this issue has not quick fix. Guess I will be upgrading all my calender dates this evening. First time I have really been disappointed with my mobile choice of the N900 :-/

/sigh

First of all, this is all speculation.

It *sounds like* the N900 somehow thinks you changed time zones instead of remaining in a time zone and changing from Daylight Saving Time to Standard Time. Do you let your carrier "update" the time on the phone? It seems like a strange thing to happen...

Do you know what TZ it had before, and is this different than the current setting?

Nope, same time zone as always. I have now set my device to only manually update so hopefully this won't happen to me again in march :-/

Same happened to me, I was convinced the time would be automatically upadated so my alarm rung one hour too late.. I'm quite lucky I didn't have to rush to work on that day so I've set the manual updates too... what a dvlottery !

Similar issue: My time changed OK moving 1hr back on the Sun morning and the alarm went off at the correct time. Great.

However later in the day I noticed that the time had updated and moved 1hr ahead again.

The time-zone is correct and hadn't changed just the time updated. I suspect my bug is more likely this one rather than an alarm issue: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...aylight+saving

My solution is to de-select 'update automatically' and just do it manually for now.

Mine is set to update automaticly, but the time is correct. This usually isn't the case, automatic daylight changes over here are infamous for messing it up (the official days when it happens have changed often and most software and hardware companies didn't update in time), but it seems it worked just fine with my N900.
