    why emmc could not flash??

    using xp 32bit successfully flashed the firmware

    and when i try to flash emmc immidiatly after frimware flshing(the device was booted between both flashing)gives me..

    and in the last tried without -R paramiter(for not reebooting the device between the both flashing) successfully flashed the firmware but gets the same in emmc

    these are the images i used. did you place them in the flasher directory?

    is the device stuck on 5 balloons -screen?

    e: the images are in the right place as you can see from output pasted to first post.

    happened to me when i wanted to flash vanilla after flashing pr1.3 tried few times and gave up

    yes i place them in falsher directory!

    You don't want it booting after the firmware so you were correct to drop -R from the first command.

    Try yanking the USB from the PC and plugging it into another port when it gets stuck.
    This has corrected the problem for me in the past. Eventually you'll find a port that will always(ish) work.

    If you hit a real dead end, run Ubuntu from a live USB/CD and try flashing from the terminal within Ubuntu.

    did u wait for some time for emmc to start flashing, cuz it takes around 10 sec for flashing process to start after this mssg is displayed "suitable usb device not found"


    anyways major issues are cuz of flashing in windows , flashing via linux is da easiest and error free.

    tried changing usb prot too !!did not work for me ..xcept using unbuntu live usb/cd .what can i try as the last option?

    I'd start from scratch.

    I turned n900 off, got flasher waiting to flash kernal without the -R option, then plugged it in, and turned it on while holding the u key.

    when it had finished, I didn't touch or reboot anything, just fed in the vanilla flash command and let it go

    try that, should work as it blanks everything

    I'm running vista
