skype is already there in contacts
u just have to go to setting-connectivity-VoIP and IM account
and add new account
if u dont have skype then just install Extra protocols plugin for gaim, yahoo, msn etc.

i think the problem is only in indian mobile.

i am wondring why skype is there in ovi store if we can not install it!

i was just trying to install skype again if it works and....

good news finally skype got installed in indian mobile, without globle or any firmware.yes from ovi store i think u also can do it!
