In absence of any phone password protection feature or app, I use secure device option on my N900.

Im having problems with this however as my phone keeps switching itself off. In a nutshell, there is a gap just above the 'Enter lock code' when securing phone which, when touched, brings up 'switch off device'. On several occasions, when my pockets have been full, yes button has been pressed by other objects in pockets and phone has then switched off without my knowledge.

Any way to get around this so that the gap can be removed?
