Great work my test actually confirms your statement. I took my phone off the charger at 9:40pm Woke up this morning and it has hardly budged. I hope Nokia comes out with a solution for this fast I cannot believe someone dropped the ball and didn't notice this.
well...guess what guys ? my n900 battery has gone bonkers... :-
1.my battery takes ONLY 4-5 hours to get it fully charged and that too when its TURNED OFF...it simply doesn't completes charging if its ON !!!well just as a side note my NOKIA N81 takes only 1.5hours to complete
charging...and so does other nokia phones in my house...
2.i put my n900 to charge at 5:00pm at a battery level of 0.4%! at around 10:30 pm its still at 0.4%!!!!! now beat that ! (refer pt.1)
3.then how long can it last after a full charge ??? 5-6 hours ??? nope...4 hours MAX...may be an hour in addition if i am LUCKY ENOUGH !!!
4.but guys u know what ?? i STILL LOVE MY NOKIA N900!!! i'm sure i'm gonna find a way out to get it in line....
I bet there's a way of just turning the wifi radio off. Be it a kill switch in /sys/bus/pci/drivers/ or somewhere. I doubt you need Texas Hold Em Tex to reboot the device just to do this...
