hay guys, i would like to re flash my phone with pr1.3, i updated with ota, but would like to reflash my phone with both images, both the fiasco and emmc!

however i cant find the 1.3 uk variant update image, i have looked here and cant see the one i need

the uk one doesnt exist yet

Most of us uk'ers have just flashed with the global one, i've had no issues since december last year

hmmm thats a bit crappy, if i use the global one how do i go about doing it?
how long are we expected to wait for the uk one?

thesnake505, there is never a timescale unfortunatley, but using the global one is exactley the same!
The regional differences are things like FM transmitter, wireless bands etc... but most have fixes anyway.

As i said, i'm a uk voda user, and not had any issues, wireless or other

If you want to move to 1.3 i'd recommend flashing to that. (Just involves downloading that file instead of the non existant uk version)

i already have 1.3 on my phone as i did it ota, i just wanted to reflash!


so if i download these two files

RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin

and

RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin

thats the two immages i need to chage to global

Hmm i'm confused, what version do you currently have on your phone? as the UK one doesnt exist?

now im really confused, because i updated ota my firmwire a few weeks ago from the app manager! im sure it was 1.3? if not what was it?

although it irrelevant now any way because i have just flashed this image

RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin

so im now on global??

goto the n900 menu, settings and then click about product, it should tell you the version number, and you can match that number to the variant on the nokia page
hehe sounds like you are on global, as it is the same as mine :P
