I recently saw Squid Proxy listed in the N900 Application Manager as an installable application, I am wondering what are the use cases for Squid on the N900?

Could we somehow use it to bridge GPRS and WLAN, would that achieve anything interesting (since the Mobile Hotspot already seems to do this)?

we can make the hotspot with standard kernel.
