Just yesterday I installed Uboot thinking that I will Install meego today..But today when I rebooted my n900 the following message comes with that Linux penguin on top

    U-boot 2010.06-matan (Nov 10 2010 -13:53:03)
    Getting NOL) supplied boot parameters...
    Die ID #5b12xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    Extra commands:
run screen -User serial port for control.
run usbcom -use usbtty for control
    run vgacom - use framebuffer/keyboard
runmmcboot- boot from sd card slot..

(And there are few more lines...)

    Ok
    Using existing atags at 0xxxxxxxxx
    Starting kernel

    And then nothing happens...

What can I do now?? I am not that familiar with this kind of situations...so step by step procedure will be really appreciated...along with how to install meego on micro sd....I got a 4g mmc for that...

reflash original kernel ONLY. See here how to.......
    http://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_tablet_firmware
Then if you really want to try meego install uboot from app manger and if you have a properly prepared SD you'll see uboot and meego will start.

As per the instructions...I press "U" and plug in the usb cable...but while installing the driver...I get an error showing that the device is unplugged and it doesn't install....But the usb icon on the device is visible...So Is there anything wrong?? I Did everything that was shown on the instructions..but my device didn't reboot . Or is it because I am using windows 7 that's why it's not working ??

when i had that issue, i pulled off the battery, waited a little bit and put it back again and tried booting up again (don't do it with it plugged on the charger, that somtimes result in not booting for some reason)
