I'm not trying to insult you; I'm just pointing out that the particular claim I quoted doesn't make sense. Or do you believe in voodoo and magic? In that case I may as well stop trying to apply logic here.

Are you even running the same OS release as when you first applied you hack?

lol, no I don't believe in magic ;-). I had not applied any powersaving hacks, or speed hacks since day one in getting my device. The only one being swappolube (applied after creating my hack). Thx to debernardis and a great community ;-). Also I pretty much have the same softwares installed. Except maybe 1 or two which I haven't installed yet.

A portion of swappolube has since been incorporated into my hack. Yes, I am also using the same OS (global release) as with my first hack.

About the insult, I break no bones in saying sry, I was wrong to come across to you like that.

Fantastic work. I've been using this patch together with overclocking constantly at 1GHz. Seems no compromise in battery life compared to the factory setting.

PS Will you change the update timestamp because it's still 14/11/10. :P

I think this could be quite a significant point.

Which settings from swappolube have you incorporated?

Possible but highly unlikely, users generally have a problem using the radio in PR1.3. At the time this started happening, my patches weren't here. FMTX also mainly uses it's own coding. Try opening the fm radio and repeatedly plug and unplug
the headsets, while activating the loudspeakers, that usually gets it started for me.

    o_o

    Code:
    #!/bin/sh

    start on started rcS-late

    script
           echo "30" > /proc/sys/vm/swappiness
           echo "1" > /proc/sys/vm/page-cluster
           #echo "1" > /proc/sys/vm/laptop_mode
           #echo "1" > /proc/sys/vm/oom_kill_allocating_task
           echo "100" > /proc/sys/vm/dirty_expire_centisecs
           echo "100" > /proc/sys/vm/dirty_writeback_centisecs
           echo "60" > /proc/sys/vm/dirty_background_ratio
           #echo "95" > /proc/sys/vm/dirty_ratio
           echo "0" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_timestamps
           echo "1" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_no_metrics_save
#Wait until late in the boot process
           sleep 45
           amixer set Capture 0%
           amixer set Capture nocap
           sleep 15
           amixer set Capture cap
           amixer set Capture 100%
    end script

    Hi SavageD

Did you also tune earpiece volume control in your script?
During call I must reduce volume to half to avoid echo in receiver end. So it seems that there is too much crosstalk or sidetone from too loud earpiece speaker to microphone (and to uplink).

Which files defines parameters for earpiece?
    - hp.parameters
    - hs.parameters

    Otherwise working well. Thanks!
