    Abhi - Thanks and I have been looking into options. What option do you sugges, pre or post paid?

    On an unrelated note, do you know whether there are places which rent a bike for a month in Hyd?

    BSNL 3G is not available in areas of hyderbad so check it before taking.

    Airtel is good alternative if u can do EDGE.

    I am aiming for skype quality calls and edge might stutter on that.
    Do you know whether 'Manikonda'/Hi-tech area has BSNL 3g coverage?

    edit: I did a quick search for 3g coverage map and didn't find any userful info.

    Guys, i suppose you would have heared of an app called "WEB2SMS"
    its used to send sms via internet to mobile phones
    at present it does not have "www.160by2.com" or "www.way2sms.com" as providers, which is the only source we indians can use
    and its creator wants testers from india

    Similiarly, I've been trying to get 160by2 to get working on WWW2SMS. The developer is looking into it.

    Finally we have 3.5G+ by Tata Docomo , we should have around 4-5 MBPS on the N900
