I realize this is an old thread, however....

DLNA streams are not seekable in pr1.3 according to me.

Unfortunately I don't have a record of my prior firmware level though I did have seekable DLNA streams, and I was watching AVIs.

Does anyone else have any information on this?

    Yes,
Im a bit confused by my old post there; I remember getting this phone december 09; and being able to stream, and seek, my avi files from a buffalo linkstation in my home lan.

With pr1.1 a huge portion of my avi files stopped playing. Either only with sound or not at all.

pr1.2 gave back the streaming but seek was broken; furthermore It seems that my dlna server (being the linkstation) doesn't appear on the n900's mediaplayer reliably anymore.

pr1.3 didn't bring anything new here.

I gave up on it; its an annoying broken feature but more a gimmick than something I would actually use on a regular basis. I bought an Xtreamer from amazon (I can recommend it) and stream to my television now.
