MPlayer doesn't play mp4 streams. Help!

    Hey everybody,

recently I noticed that mplayer doesn't play mp4 streams anymore! In fact, when I try to stream a file (using Gpodder or KMPlayer), the screen will just turn black or grey and the sound stutters.

    Could somebody help me out?
Try to play this file using mplayer and tell me what happens:

    http://medien.wdr.de/download/129018...t_20101119.mp4

On my device, this video (and other mp4 streams) wouldn't play...

Funny thing: Local videos will play without a flaw!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Streams perfectly for me.

Good to know! Because for me, even after a full reflash and a complete reinstall of mplayer, streams don't work! Can anybody of you please post the mplayer config file?
    It's located in "/home/user/.mplayer/config"
    Mine is empty.

my way to get kmplayer to play more formats than stock is to:

    install the codec pack
install all the video players i can find, but still only use kmplayer

in kmplayer, try various "players" like oss or mplayer etc.

It's not a problem with the codec pack, I mean mplayer used to work...
But does anybody have any suggestions what I can try to find out what's wrong?

//EDIT: I just added an mplayer logfile when I tried to play the stream above: Maybe you can help me figure out whats wrong!

Getting this error also, even after a full reflash. Weird.

Another thing, when I use to play one video from terminal I would play in fullscreen... now I can see the title (status bar during playing).

    Any help is welcome.
