hi guys ... this is my first thread in this forums

i have a problem with playing video files on my n900
when i try to play them on the original media player and sib
and what shocked me is the files are .. mp4 and avi
formats
these videos i'm trying to play were converted with all the programs i have found like super and handbreak and xvid4psp and xilisoft ultimate video converter and so.....
i get unable to play media media format not supported
i have installed extra decders for the original media player and haven't install any patch and haven't installed kernel power pacage
any help with this ??

Maybe the resolution of your movie files is higher than 800x480?

Welcome to the forums!

Good question though as many people struggle with it, i agree with slender above, best to read what other people have tried first, as there is no simple easy way to do it.

Best thing to do if you still have problems is write the stats here too, so size of file, quality, rates etc, so people can try and make a learned assessment
