    Pulseaudio doesn't auto start

I've been having problems with pulseaudio starting on boot up, without pulseaudio, the media player can't function, the camera app will crash, the phone app won't make calls, and pretty much anything that needs sound doesn't work properly.

I've been trying to find the root cause of this, but apparently, I failed

pulseaudio exits with return code 127 (as shown in syslog), I'm on kernel-power 46 (which I'm sorta leaning towards thinking that it's causing the problem), and with the following 172 packages installed (not very helpful eh?) http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=8VigCVdv

I've only seen another person (on twitter) who's had this problem, anyone else? And any proposed solutions?

    Thanks in advance

Edit: oh and starting it manually with start pulseaudio works.

    Hi,

This thread handles the same problem: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=65497&page=4

It seems to be something related to libFLAC.
