Hi!

Basically installing shortcutd and my phone restarted midway! So its corrupt and everytime i install anything via dpkg i get the

dpkg: error processing shortcutd (--remove):
subprocess pre-removal script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
shortcutd

Tried EVERYTHING! Purge, uninstall, reinstall, fapman, apt-get, i even tried

dpkg -L shortcutd

and tried deleting all related files!

i can apt-get update without errors, but upgrade isnt so nice :/

Any suggestions??

Thanks

did you try
Code:
dpkg --configure -a
or
Code:
apt-get install -f
Code:
dpkg -r shortcutd
is for removing the packages

i would suggest re-installing sortcutd to fill the missing files and i don't think the installing will complete, so you have to do apt-get update and apt-get upgrade to complete shortcutd
also apt-get install -f
and you have the complete shortcutd...uninstall it
that way you don't have any damaged files anywhere.
keep im mind that there is log files or config. or setting files of any application or game you remove i just clean them manually by filebox
