you don't know if you gonna use it or not so hide it with app locker, or you can remove the icon image but i don't know wheres the menu applications icons are.

    /usr/share/applications/hildon
it's one of those .desktop files
move it elsewhere and you're done
then if you need it again, put it again where it belongs

i'd forgot where the .desktop files are located:P

    when thru xterminal to 1100
    sudo gainroot
    kernel-config limits 500 1100

that program dident help voor me @ all! an i have the queen beecon widget to switch from 250 - 750 to 500 - 1100 and back again! (editi the default and ideal files of the kernel) also the queen beecon widget to go 50 mhz up or down! this is all in the queen beecon wiki!

If you have apmefo you can also hide it through editing the menu file (you don't HAVE to have apmefo, it just makes life easier). Go to the ~/.config/menus/ directory.

From here, open up the hildon.menu file, and at a line under the <include></include> tags, that says:
    Code:
    <exlude><filename>kernel-power-deinstall.desktop</filename></exlude>
