    hello,
Is it possible to control more finely the sound of the N900?
When the volume is turned down, it is too strong to be listened to with my headset. Is it possible to add a threshold between the minimum volume and the volume off.

If you use the default mediaplayer, use the volume slider in there and not the volume buttons. this way you can get the volume a bit lower before it goes off.

The volume slider, when I listen to the sound with the headset has the same defect as the volume button.
alsamixer works but its interface is not user friendly.

I will use Queen BeeCon to adjust the volume with amixer.

Do you know the syntax axmixer?
