I have a N900 and when I install programs, on my other Symbian phones it would ask for the drive to install to--my N900 doesn't ask. I just want to make sure it doesn't go to my applications memory and goes to the 32gb drive. Can anyone tell me please. I also have a memory card and I don't know how to get the programs to it. If they go on the 32 gb drive that is fine too.

they usually go to /home/opt/
this is a 2gb partition, part of the 32gb of course.
there's an app called "storage usage" you can use to help explore this
there's got to be 50 threads on how to save rootFS space, take a look at some of those
