    Is it possible to map, on the Sixaxis controller, a key which doesn't exist on the N900 keyboard ?
    If it is possible, then, do you know what keycode must be used for the "ESC" key ?

    Thanks in advance for your answers.
    Can someone help me remap my ps3 controller. I have already gotten the controller to connect to the N900. I did this last year and have no clue as to what or how i managed. I managed to get some WebOS (palm) games to run on the N900 and can't see to get the controller to sensibly controll the games. I've since reinstalled XP so I've got nothing left of the programs required (in needed) so please treat me like a newbie. I don't have 20-x11-sony-sixaxis.fdi on by PC or on the N900 so I don't know what file to change. Help would be appreciated.

    If it helps, my controller works like so:

    The following 4 buttons opens up the CONTACTS page and then reponds as such in the search box in the contacts page.

    The SQUARE BUTTON = a
    The TRIANGLE BUTTON = s
    The CIRCLE BUTTON = x
    The X BUTTON =z

    The STARTbutton = Nothing
    The SELECT button = SPACE

    THE UP, DOWN, RIGHT LEFT work as should

    LEFT1=w
    LEFT2=q
    RIGHT1=e
    RIGHT2=r

    I don't know how to check the 2 joysticks (if they work)

    Yes, I had controller 2 mapped to keypad keys.

    For those apps that don't support using controllers directly, you use them indirectly via virtual keyboard presses. For example, someone was just mentioning that their 'SQUARE BUTTON' is mapped to 'a'. Setup the emulator keyboard config to use 'a' for a button command (let's call it 'button 1') and presto changeo: the square button on your controller will begin to work in the emulator as 'button 1'.

    and what does this mean:

    Connection Problems?:

    add "input" back into the disabled modules in:

    /etc/bluetooth/main.conf

    stop/start bluetooth.
    Note: doesn't work with "input" missing.

    Unfortunately I don't have Sixaxis with me today, so I cannot test it ;-)

    If you want to test it, get the attached .deb

    How do you use qjoypad. I installed on N900 but when I click on it, nothing runs? I have not found any more occurances on the net of it's usage with n900. IS it a replacement for Xorg Joystick driver. I want to make custom key mappings for my Ps3 controller which is currently connected to the n900.

    Thanks

    I don't know what method you used for connect your PS3 controller on your phone : the "20-x11-sony-sixaxis.fdi" file should be here when you install the "Sixaxis Support" and the "sixad" packages (which allow this controller support).

    The other thing is, I think, you must not edit this file while your controller is connected : changes will only be applied at the next connection.
