He says the developers themselves were using the English pronunciation instead of the Finnish one ("yaiku"), as there were foreign employees in the company.
for the ondemand or always on connectivity question, i am always on. i have a 3g phone, wifi at work, and wifi at home. So i love that it can be setup to always connect. great podcast guys.
I for one would love "always-on" but I'm limited in Ireland ;
1. Limited 3G coverage at a very high price and major bandwidth capping & throttling.
2. Work network uses Cisco LEAP (any updates if OS2008 has LEAP?).
3. Limited constant free wifi coverage, (there are plans to have Dublin coved with "free" wifi starting 2008/9 so with the Irish Government/Country council doing it will be finished by 2025).
