When I saw that thread I installed Klavaro on easy debian but just got 25wpm a few times I usually get 55-60 on laptop.

Klavaro actually worked pretty well, would love to see something like that working natively on maemo

omg! How you all do that? I get to do 86wpm on a desktop pc but on n900 I only get 21wpm with 12 words error :/
well I get to type faster on touchscreen that's why I rarely use keyboard.

i type really slowly with touchscreen. probably like 3 times slower
i just text/go on facebook a lot on my phone so i type a lot and so my typing has gotten faster
with my old phone (sony c702) i could type a lot faster. but with t9 of course.

Holy crap! Did you guys set your keypad on fire or something? How do you all type so fast on it? Can someone please post a video? (I'm still finding it really amazing. Did any cheat by plugging a USB keyboard to the n900? Or maybe remote xwindow to the n900?)
