Nice find Michmo, I would like to add it is possible to release a BB Pin from a device so if you could get a crap BB for vheep your be able to deport it from there and some how assign it to the N900. But like a lot of the others are saying that's a lot of work. If you do follow through with this I'd be happy to donate. I hate all BB devices althought the torch does look interesting. But it's just a "Pager" theoreticaly that receives call that the only reason why people buy them lol. But because people are to lazy to creat an account ad use a password they would rather spend how much £££ on a BB. Fools...

For the price in my country the Torch looks like a waste of time for me, low spec piece of garbage lol people only buy these things because "everyone" has one like other things that are done in society that people just do because "everyone's doing it".

Me I have my own brain.

So your either saying the phone's crap or I have no brain because the phone specs are pants?

I'd just like to point out, I said "It lOOks" interesting. I never said the phone it self was. To a certain degree I can agree with what your saying though I hate the amount attention they receive. Just because of a "Semi Private" messenger.

As for me, I said the design of the phone looks interesting. Just to clear that one up.

The thread title is extremely misleading, could please change it to somthing that more closely relates to reality?

How I wish everyday it was Nokia that came up with this BBM thing. I had my N900 for like 7 months and with skype, gtalk, msn and yahoo all logged on 24/7 I was seeing the same 3 people online everyday. Once in a while I would come across another random person. Had no choice but to get a Blackberry because that is where all my friends and family were using IM. Now I have to carry a crap device just for chatting. Would be nice if this had happened with Nokia. Or android.

I know there are other factors that have made BBM so popular. In fact in Nigeria where I am from and most of my friends and family live they all had no choice but to get blackberries because mobile operators there only offer internet bundles with blackberry. Shame on them.

How come the Iphone has a BBM app? Surely if they have one it should be possible to get one on N900?
