Thanks for this great job !

I followed all the steps, but it fails to start (ubuntu).

My observations about the tutorial :
*unzipping failed (system crash) on my n900. I unzipped it on my Linuxbox after mounting the n900 as a usb-storage
*chmod +x ... should be -R to apply on executable files inside ubuntu rep
*unzipping myscripts fails because...I could not find unzip prog on n900. I managed to do it from my Linux box again.
    *attempt to start ./ubuntu
sudo : etc/sudoers is owned by uid 1000, should be 0

    Everything else fails after this.

    How to fix this ?

I did nothing special. Only what I mentionned in my previous post.

To get root rights, I only type "root" when necessary.

After chmod +x, try a "ls -l to see if X rights have been added.

if you have problems with permisions try to change it with

    Code:
    root
    chmod 777 /home/user/ubuntu/chrootubuntu
    chmod 777 /home/user/ubuntu/ubuntu
    chmod 777 /home/user/ubuntu/startubuntu

    try this:

Open a new xterminal and type this

    Code:
    sudo qchroot /home/user/MyDocs/ubuntu-m5-v1.img.ext2 /.ubuntu
    Xephyr :2 -br -fullscreen &
    startlxde2
if you have problems with this please check the files inside ubuntu /usr/bin/startlxde2 make sure it says DISPLAY=:2
