I'll do my best to help you nukey, sounds like a DNS issue to me.

Do you get facebook if you go to this web address?

    69.63.181.12

There's no need to login if you don't trust me, but that is the direct IP to facebook, if it's a DNS issue, you should get that page.

It's a DNS issue, most likely caused by your router...

You could attempt to fix it on the router itself, but the quick fix is to sort it out on the N900.

    Fix:

On N900, go into Settings, then Internet connections, then click Connections.

Find your WiFi network, select it and click Edit.

    Press Next, Next then Advanced.

Select IP Addresses and untick Auto-retrieve DNS.

Then enter, as your Primary DNS, 8.8.8.8

    And your secondary as 208.67.222.222

Click Save, then Finish, your WiFi should restart, if not then disconnect and reconnect.

    Try a webpage again.

    Hi,

I've experienced the same Problem with my N900 since 2 weeks. For me the problem began at the time I achieved a connection with the network of my University through Openconnect. From that point till now I cannot stablished any connections successfully (nor WiFi nor UMTS). I've tried your solution but with no success. Do you have any other suggestions??

    Thanks for any Help

research is good, i created a post for this problem with no help until i have landed on this thread, i tried to access this post numerous times but my phone always gave me server not found! now for me it was my simcard not wifi, i could access facebook, twitter, google search and youtube but not any other website! tried to use my server's dns settings but they couldn't help until i have used his settings and i was happy seeing maemo.org launching without passing through numbers like 44.22.66/talk.maemo.org so now everything is back to normal after begging my server for an answer for 2weeks until they started hanging up on me whenever they knew that it was me calling! thanks boy!
