[ANNOUNCE] XBox360 Media Remote
I've just uploaded into extras-devel an app I developed yesterday whilst messing with QML, it's called "XBox360 Media Remote". It allows you to control your XBox 360 with the Nokia N900s' CIR port.
Obligatory screenshot:  So, let me know what you think.

HI tswindell, just downloaded your app. Looks good mate but i cant seem to get it to work? restarted my N900 and no joy, even tried it 'close range' lol any ideas?

Just tried it and it doesn't work and i have enabled media remote in the xbox 360 menu.
What are we doing wrong?

Retro gaming nut. handhelds running mame really well, GP2x (mk2), GP2x wiz, JXD s7300 Samsung galaxy note 2 owner and of course mame on that too  ex - Xbox 360 user - here is the reason - I am back Xboxing again - and here is what i did to correct it - ***UPDATE*** now 47 months on and x-clamp fix has just failed....not a bad run

Okay, I did a bit of investigating, I need to fix a packaging issue with getting sudo access. I thought lirc added the appropriate entries but doesn't, I'll update the package which should be downloadable in 10 minutes.
