You Sir, made me laugh. Sincerely or rather, as we say here, "con gusto". That poor quality looking Window Manager you are talking about is the N900 of Window Managers. Itīs a source of raw power that needs some love and devotion to set up properly but once done, you will not come across a more versatile Window Manager.

And itīs been like that, ahead of itīs time, since E16. It will allow you to bind programs and windows to a certain desktop, at a specified location, with specified size, etc. Like Maemo, it allows you to have a panormic desktop wallpaper, spread out over the number of desktops you have. You are able, from a gui, to change transition behaviour, export it, or import ones from a theme or the internet. In short: lots of the eye candy our N900 offers, has been available for over ten years to anyone who wasnīt afraid of a git install. Enlightenment rules for the one who are, well, enlightened, but remains a mystery to those who are not.
