So I have a question for other folks. On my N900, I have both the stock App Manager installed as well as FAM (Faster Application Manager). I keep App Manager configured with the standard Nokia repos, Extras and Extras-Testing, and the Ovi repo. FAM is configured with Nokia/Extras/Extras-Testing and Extras-Devel as well.

This lets me use one application manager to find "stable" apps and one to find the "dev" apps - this way, I know what to expect from each app I install. It also means that, typically, App Manager won't try to upgrade my stable apps to their newer version that are currently in devel, which is a problem I always had with adding devel to the app manager.

How do you folks work with this? Does anyone take a similar approach or have other ways of doing the same thing? Just curious!
