Thank you, TA-t3. I got it and installed it, and I can now get to a command line. But you are right that I need to become the root. From where do I get/install "becomeroot"

The wiki instructions seem to be slightly outdated.. I would try to update it, but I can't seem to log in - it wants my garage login but that doesn't work (but it does work on garage.. go figure.)
