    EDIT: sorry i missunderstood ur post, just woke up from ma bed. ur nitdroid will need an mmc to boot, anything in the microsd slot will work even empty damaged worn out mmcs just plug in anything, BUT after nitdroid is boooted up take out ur mmc and check if it's still on

    Yes I tried that last week, but dunno how things got screwed up . I started changing my ITEM_DEVICE: to various partitions , and ended up reflashing my phone .

    Sorry if I make questions looking silly.
    1) Nitdroid runs as a dual boot with Maemo or it can completely replacce Maemo?
    2) Is the phone working (calls, sms, mms).
    3) Is possible to send and receive mails?
    4) Is it possible to have flash 10.1?

    @ammyt :

    If i understand correctly the mmc is formatted in certain format right?
    So after using your method can i use the mmc to store the debian/ubuntu/fedora/archlinux OS images (which is in .ext2 format)?

    I want to be able to mount those images from mmc as well..
