UPDATE (14/12/10 @ 5.47pm):
cuteTube 0.9.9-2 in extras-devel soon.

• Added a manual and log in the 'About' window.
• Fixed 'no related videos' bug.
• Fixed 'no video rating' bug (error in service.py of gdata.youtube package).
• Fixed bug resulting in downloads not starting immediately.

Please check the log if you have any problems with this release.

Ok my issue has been driving me crazy, well 5 minutes of testing (which is not enough) has show me...

when I select multi-select and then click on the video's towards the left (actually on the box where you put the check) it then brings the full menu (new search, multi-select, add to queue, add to downloads, add to playlist, add to favourites) like one in ten attempts. usually it just brings up new search and multi select.

However if I click on the video title over the middle of the screen to make my multi-selects, then (in my 5 minutes of testing) every time I get the complete menu not just "new search" and "multi-select".

so for now I guess I will not click on the checkbox but instead click in the middle or where the video title is. btw yes when I click on the checkbox on the left it is in fact putting the check in the box but the full menu is not getting enabled.

thanks for fixing the download issue...btw I did look at the log and did not see anything error related.

Hehe. You have discovered a genuine bug there. I didn't realise that the checkbox would be receiving the mouse clicks. The list is only appended when the list item receives the click, so if you click on the checkbox itself, the list is unchanged. I never tried clicking directly on the checkbox. Should be easy to fix.

I am having this issue and I do have 'PyQt4 Full Install' installed. Is there any other reason why it wont start up?

after the updated i now see more than 5 of my favourite videos. can now see 17. but there still isnt a plus sign at the bottom to view more. The loading icon at the top of the page just keeps spinning too. is this a known issue?

Hi was wondering if there would be any way to have downloads icon appear on more (or all) of the screens. for instance I was having an issue (reboot solved it) getting downloads after the most recent version. I ended up back at the main screen after starting some downloads and did not see a way to check the status there, seems silly to have to do a new search in order to see the status...thanks again for this app.

The download menu option will appear on all windows (except the video info window), once a video is added to the download queue. When a video is added to the download queue, a signal is emitted to all parent windows. Those windows then set the download menu option to become visible. This behaviour has not changed since the first release.
