This is what I did when FBReader stopped displaying the Library. I came across this for the second time yesterday, after an update.
After updating, the library only showed 1 book, not the usual 20 that are in there. (The book it was showing was the last one that was open before the update)
In the preferences I noticed that the Library Book Path was:
p/home/user/MyDocs/Books
The solution for me was to make sure the Library Book Path was:
~/MyDocs/Books (with the tilde)
I hope that helps anyone having the same problem.
