Yeah, nice preview zero! At least on my tablet: my laptop STILL shows the old 1and1 page! And both are on the same wifi router! Maybe it has something to do with this VPN link...

Zero I added the conference server into my jabber account to try it out as I have not used jabber before but now when I set status as on the icon just flashed between the on and off icon. is the conference server down or do I need to create a new account for your server?

I have the same issue. N800 shows new page laptop on coorporate vpn shows old page, but i also never went to old page on teh n800 and have not deleted internet cache in a while.

As far as I know, you should be able to just join. Most Jabber servers support external people joining conferences.

What server are you using for Jabber? When you choose to join a conference/groupchat, be sure the server listed is conference.jabber.jablet.net and the actual channel/chatroom is jablet.

If you want, I'll set you up with a Jabber account... just say the word/send me a private message on the forums or send me a message through jabber at jay@jablet.net.

And did you edit your jabber conference setting as zero showed?

If he's using an external Jabber account, it might not work. I might have to manually invite him if there's nowhere in his client to specify the server.

Yeah, it should work for ANY jabber user. I mean, that's the point of jabber (one point anyway)...
