SGX 530?

Overclock it's voltage (somehow).
Get true HD (1080p @30fps) running smoothly.
Get (once hardware accelarated) emulators (N64, PSX) to run fullspeed
Get graphic intensive games (eg Asphalt 5) to run on true HD output
Get 3D (2560 x 720 @24fps) running smoothly
Play Crysis

The transitions did get a lot smoother and I'm not experiencing any random freezes. try it atilla maybe it works on your N900.

SGX has nothing at all that can help with video decoding.

Go read the code, the transitions are handled by GLESv2 and Clutter.
Great, but if that is the case, then Nokia did a shitty job at them, because the run like trash. Hildon is the downfall of the N900. I would rather have no transitions and a powerful UI over some half-baked transitions and a laggy, crash-prone UI.

I wouldnt count on this happening, ever.
