    I've created a SMS/IM Smileys Pack whit 30 smileys
The graphics is inspiered to the 90's and there is very minimal.

.deb is attached, install whit dpkg

    Update, skype plugin in attachement

    To install:

1 Download the attachement in MyDocs
2 Please TURN OFFLINE your status
    3 openx x-term and:

    root
    cd /home/user/MyDocs
dpkg -i oldschool_1.0_all.deb (you can help whit TAB )

For active the theme reboot or in x-term

    killall rtcom-messaging-ui

    Same thing for the plugins

You can chose a theme to use in conversation >> settings >> emoticon theme

For skype, yahoo and other plugin if you install the plugin automaticaly set the teme. To return at the old theme just remove the plugin

    @Veleno,

If i changed my smileys pack would the recipient be able to receive the new smileys in the text?

    No.
Smilies are displayed differently in each client.
But I have followed the standard punctuation ( this ) and, whit this, more or less all client display a smile.
However, even with the original Nokia smile is the same behavior.

In short, nothing changes respect to the first, only the graphics on your terminal

Yep, i can create smileys pack for the other services.
At the momente i still work to the skype account.

I don't have a yahoo account, please can you control if in

    /usr/share/rtcom-messaging-ui/smilies/service

you have a file named yahoo.def ? And in case pass to me?
And also a screeshot of the default yahoo service smiley.

I need of that file for create a smile pack

Ps. all the other account (skype, yahoo, etc) will be a plugin, not integrated whit the main pack for tecnical reason
Only facebook, msn, gtalk and SMS support the theme chooser in conversation menu

    Do they work on incoming?

I mean, default Nokia has -what- 10 smilies, you have 30. If one of the added smilies come in an incoming SMS, does it get replaced, or is it shown in text only and the buttons simply type :\ or similar.
