u will need Extras-devel repository to enable it refer this link
    http://wiki.maemo.org/Extras-devel
after wards open xterm and type

    root
    apt-get install nitdroid-installer

after this download this file and install using app manager
    http://downloads.nitdroid.com/nitins....2.7_armel.deb

after installing open xterm and type nitdroid and follow the instructions.
after about 30 minutes (depending on ur internet connection) u will be dual booting android and maemo

    Is this a joke?

    Really?

This was released so long ago and has been in so many threads. This is nothing new.

    Really!? new post worthy?

Edit: A real nerd would use 'wget' to install the fixes from download.nitdroid

apt-get install would do the downloading already.

there is just icon in menu.
and it's nothing new, it's old as nitroid 0.0.8 itself, even maybe more. just use forums next time, there are hundreds ways oof nitdroid installation on it already, as well as nitdroid.com provide all the information you need with wiki and forums and auto and manual installations.

This file he is getting is a fix for nitdroid-installer. The installer has a problem with formatting SD cards and bails out on many users when formatting to ext3. The file is a fix and you download and dpkg it onto your phone to install nitdroid.

so why than it's not pushed to extras instead as it's THE SAME package, just differnet versions. and if you install it manualy - it just overwrite existing version ._.

e-yes/jay-c don't have access to the repo/file. DJ_Steve does, I believe. He has not updated nitdroid (or done a great deal) for a long time. Which is why fixes and such are still on downloads.nitdroid.
