    my yahoo messenger is showing network error. what do i type in xterminal to kill it? reboot did not work.

    apt-get update
    apt-get upgrade

    worked for me....even though maemo5 showed no pending updates packages were installed and now no "network error"

    I am sorry to reopen this old Thread, but I am still getting a "Network Error" since yesterday evening. Before that, it happened sometimes, but since yesterday I cannot login to my ICQ Account again. Any solutions?

    there was a major icq downtime yesterday... maybe they made some changes to the protocol (i'm also unable to login my icq-account on the n900)
