    Can't boot MeeGo

    Hello dudes,

    I am kinda noob but if get the right directions i cant do install it really right.
    I downloaded the image file for MeeGo and used win32 Disk thingy and flashed it into my 8GB mmc as well installed new kernel thingy and pr1.3 multiboot and uboot ok
    now after restarting my n900 it wont boot to MeeGo saying invalid partition and cannot boot from .scr file
    can somebody help me now??

    dude i searched google n searched this forum n followed the instruction on MeeGo website n some other websites too but i still get that problem

    you're looking for help, aren't you? don't you think explaining your problem in understandable language will get you further than being p*ssed off for getting your horrible spelling corrected??

    you obviously did something wrong, for starters you can't have multiboot _and_ u-boot. the installation instructions linked here by shardul and diph clearly state that you need u-boot, not multiboot.

    also, just for the record - since you describe yourself as "n00b", i wouldn't recommend installing meego at all. it isn't ready for end-users yet.

    Nope, I'm no English teacher. I'm not even English. I just find that trying to read a question that is written in infernal text speak, and without the correct punctuation makes it difficult and frustrating to read, especially for those who don't have English as their first language. People who would normally take the time to help you out don't bother.

    If you want to be treated like an adult, start writing like one. Take the time to word your question correctly and you'll be amazed at how many people will jump to help you.
