I was on a bike trip, and my N900 jumped off my handlebar bag on the street and I rolled over it.

The phone is still working, it boots, I can hear the boot video. I can power it down with the power button. The led in the left corner works fine. So I know the memory, processor, Linux... works fine. What is not working is the screen and the touch screen. The screen is clearly cracked. But I dont know how much the touch input device is related to the output screen ? I plugged it on a tv with the tv-out cable. The tv receive a signal, but no image. So if I switch the slider on the right the tv switch from blue (no signal) to black (some signal), but no image. Again, I dont know how much that is related to the screen itself.

Any idea how I can test further before buying a new screen or a place to test and fix it in Montréal or anywhere in Québec ?

Thank,
Kristian

You likely need one of each of these. I think your 3.5 A/V out is busted up too.

Great, reliable store to buy from. But since the cost is so high, you may just want to buy a new N900 or upgrade to something newer.

You're sure that the system still works? You have a ssh server installed that you can check or give your phone a call? Don't waste some ca$h by buying a new touchscreen and have the rest borken, too :-(
