    Ubuntu is sweet! Great update.
    Seems a little quicker (running off class2 SD).
    Fedora is working as it should, too. This also seems quicker!

    Thanks for the *.debs!

    fairy snuff, i have removed all chroots an re-flashed as my n900 decided to read every bit of media on the emmc twice so i went from 566 tunes to 1156 or so is this down to the os's or just a normal n900 bug

    @juandp

    I'm getting this error when i try to run the open office shortcut that i asked few pages earlier...

    I used this code :

    Code:
    if [ "x$UBUNTUIMG" = "x" ] ; then
    UBUNTUIMG="`ls -1 /media/mmc1/ubuntu*.img* | head -1`"
    fi

    if [ "x$UBUNTUCHROOT" = "x" ] ; then
    UBUNTUCHROOT="/.ubuntu"
    fi

    if [ ! -d "$UBUNTUCHROOT" ] ; then
    sudo mkdir $UBUNTUCHROOT
    fi

    quserchroot $UBUNTUIMG $UBUNTUCHROOT "$@"
    And this is what i get :

    Code:
    mount failure!

    /media/mmc/ubuntu-m5-v1.2.img.ext2 failed to mount on loop1

    mount: mounting /dev/loop0 on /media/mmc1/ubuntu-m5-v1.img.ext2 failed: Device or resource busy
    Can't find the part of the code that's related to the ubuntu version, so what should be changed here?

    Hi all what am I doing wrong? I download the fedora image from the first page into my-docs. I have 24gb free on my device. I run unlzma on the fedora image and if I run watch ls -sh I see the extraction going (the file name minus the lxma at the end) up to 1.6 gb. then I get a message saying decompression failed and I cant find any partial uncompressed file...

    thanks this is user error right?

    @try-alls: I don't beleave that its a problem of mounting other os's, If you feel that the system its slowding down just use the closeall icon it will unmount all the os's, also there are other ways to improving the speed of the device like kernel-power, swaapolube, con900

    @deny_winarato: did you install the ubuntu.deb file?

    @extendedping: if you are having troubles uncompresing the img on your device I suggest you to do it on your computer, if you use linux you can do it with file-roller, on windows you can download power-archiver.

    I don't understand because it should work...

    Try extracting the image on a computer and then moving it to MyDocs via mass storage mode.
