    Sorry for the delay in getting something written about installing kubuntu-mobile on the N900..the kubuntu wiki now has this

    Is emmc (internal mmc) install possible / reasonable,
    edit 1: Also Is this affected by the broken thumb support on the N900 any?

    You can boot from internal flash, but it won't make kubuntu faster, as it is prewiew only.

    Yeah, it will. Take a look at nitdroid on internal vs class 8 sd. And for me it will most defiantly make a difference because my sdcard is class 4.

    Im more worried about the other 2 questions. Thumb and the SGX drivers; has anyone tried the SGX drivers?

    Actually, I'm aware of that, and I had istalled kubuntu on EMMC as well as NitDroid.
