I recently bought an N800 and have tried to make it connect to the internet through Bluetooth with the Alltel (CDMA) Motorola Q. I was able to pair the two devices, selected my phone and what type of connection I want. I entered the #777 code to have it dial the EVDO service to connect. It tries to connect, but never gets anywhere. I do use my Moto Q on a regular PC with Bluetooth and it connects fine through it. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to get around it?

I have a Moto Q on Sprint and use it with my N800, but only over PDAnet's DUN profile. I wasn't able to get it working out of the box, and unfortunately, PDAnet isn't free.

PDAnet is not free, but worth every penny, IMHO. Works like a charm on the Q.

I know the Q is an old phone, but it's my favorite pda phone to date. Had the 6700 and absolutely hated it (that's why i'm pretty sure i'll dislike the 810 form factor). I wish they would have just made a smaller and thinner n800 with the space saved.
