Ok I finally managed to install and run it. I've attached the sip.pcap file.

Can someone please have a look at it?

Sorry, I don't have the knowledge to analyse that log myself...

Check with your provided as from the tcpdump it is seen that multiple REGISTER requests are sent to sip.voipagain.com.

Does the log show whether the requests are sent successfully to sip.voipgain.com? I initially thought there may be a NAT issue with the wireless router so I set up NAT Port Forwarding on it. The problem persisted so I tried it on my old Nokia E51 and surprisingly, it didn't work on that too. So either its a problem with VoipGain, or my ISP!

Ok, I just looked into it. Looks like port 5060 is banned in Pakistan! :O That is just ridiculous!

I assume that the tcpdump is initiated on the phone therefore the packets may be filtered by the ISP. It is possible that the packets doesn`t leave your network at all. Other option is that the resposne from the SIP provider is lost somewhere on the way back. Can you confirm that port 5060 is open both ways? If you wish give me your public IP address in private message so I can check.

Hey Shanrizvi hope you did not give up yet

I was having similar issue, I'm located in Poland. I was unable to connect to voipgain service - tried both *.com and *.pl gateways and using login or sipgate address in configuration. The solution was trivial and it looks like is caused by N900 sip configuration approach: as address (in the main sip configuration screen), I needed to use:"user@voipgain.com" instead of simple "user" or "sip.voipgain.com" phrases.

Hope that was issue also in your case. Cheers.
