It's running Arm11, the previous generation of ARM cpus (same as N8x0).

I'd seriously doubt that it can do HD video, which means I'd question any other claims/info they have up as well. Depending on what you want to do with it, personally, I'd avoid it.

I know this is an old thread but thought I'd chime in as I just got one of these for xmas...it is a fantastic tablet for the money.
it has the full android market place and really does handle HD vids with no problems.

it can't replace my n900 but it does do many things much better.

Yeah but it's dual core at 800Mhz each. That's really not that bad.

its certainly not as slick as the streak or galaxy tab but its browser is fantastic and eveything just works...I'm not keen on the multitasking though.

I happily played a 1080p mkv file today it looks amazing and plays 100% fine.

Its making me consider getting a streak now.

Does anybody know what CPU it uses, exactly?

I've seen tablets around that state dual-core CPU when it is in fact the CPU + DSP they are counting as their "dual core".

I have no intention of buying btw; I'm just curious.

I would compare this to the Nook Color if I were shopping

Seems decent for a PMP, kind of lacking for a tablet. Shortcomings I can see:

1) lack of a good tablet OS (duh)
2) lack of RAM
3) lack of full size USB ports (not a big deal, has two mini USB and presumably host mode)
4) lack of 3G
5) low screen resolution (should be at least 1024x600)
6) crappy webcam

Oh well, at least the price is right.
