Great! I understand that Gingerbread will not be that stable, but is there any signs of a working ofono?

the guide is for those who installed nitdoid so they must have multiboot installed

this only install the new kernel and add new item to multiboot

so there is no effect on maemo and kernel power at all and it's the same as the previous kernel package but here we have the latest kernel

i have 4 choices in my multiboot :

    1 for stock maemo kernel
    2 for kernel power 46
3 for android on emmc but when u insert any memory card in ur mobile
4 for android on emmc but there is no memory card inserted

I'm expriencing this issue too, I have a working wifi and web browser, but Opera Mini gets stuck @ the first quarter of "installing" then "fail to connect, please check your settings." This is really getting me pissed off, where are the settings that should be checked, aren't there any workarounds? Or having a way to skip that "installing" phase?

I hope I knew the solution, I love Opera Mini, but not having it working while all other ppl do is really a pain in the b*tt

all of us know about the new kernel but it was released as zimage

so i replaced the new kernel with old one and repacked it as debian package so it will be very easy to install as the previous kernel

    quick how to :

assuming u installed nitdroid on home partition and u have multiboot installed :

    download this package :
    http://www.mediafire.com/?zmh7gvj626c6lrp

    copy it to
    /home/user/MyDocs

open terminal and write the following :

    root

    mount /home /and

    dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/NITDroid-kernel-Mido.Fayad.deb

and now u have the new kernel without renaming or deleting anything
So this version IS Froyo right? I installed and everything seemed to work well (though I still only have 3 options for multiboot). Under installed version it just says "ASOP" so I really don't know.

now u have the new kernel

it replaces ur old kernel with new one so when u choose 3 from multiboot , it flashes ur new kernel
